Counseling, Advocacy, Responsibility, Education, Support (C.A.R.E.S.)

Title IX is part of the United States Education Amendments of 1972, which protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance. The University of Bridgeport is committed to preventing or eliminating all forms of sex-based discrimination and consistent with this commitment, it strictly prohibits sexual assault and all forms of intimate partner violence, stalking, or harassing conduct.

The UB Cares – Title IX webpages are designed to provide the UB community with valuable information about the resources, education and support available to students who have been or may be impacted by any form of sexual misconduct including sexual assault, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, or stalking. If you or someone you know is a victim of sexual misconduct, the University encourages you to seek help and support.
